My Occupation
First and foremost I am a mother of two daughters. I consider this my main occupation because it is a full-time job, and even when
they grow up, a mother is still on the clock. It is and has been the most joyous and heartbreaking part of my life, and always will be.
Second, I am a writer. I am finally chasing the dream. This is what I've always wanted to do whether it pays the bills or not. This is my personal passion and I always hope to grow and learn through every story I write. For Fiction I use the Pen Name AJ Caywood and I love to write Suspense, Sci-Fi, Paranormal, Romance, and a little Fantasy. For Non-Fiction I use Anna Jones and I write Inspirational stories.
Both of these things are under the term "occupation" which for many, that word can have a heavy, labor minded, boring, have-to meaning. To me, Mothering and Writing are none of those things. Yes, they can have their ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies, but if it is what you love, as it is for me, all of it is worthwhile. Every little bit of it.
Don't give up. Live your Dreams. Follow your Heart. Don't Wish you'd Tried. Do.
